As this is my blog I shall do with it what I like… I’d like to ditch the mummy stuff, cyberspace is saturated with it, even the bits about me have started to bore me! So I’ve spent a while (few minutes or so) thinking about things, what I’m doing, where I’m going and what I [...] Inspired by the lovely Amy from and 1 more means 4…. and 1 more and the also very lovely Ellen from In a Bun Dance I’m doing a nice positive blog ooozing with things I just love! So here it is… the things I just love… the smell of rain on hot dusty pavements Over the last three weeks I’ve been watching the BBC2 documentary following the Reverend Peter Owen Jones pursuit of the simple life. I have found the series spellbinding. Not at all what I would usually choose to watch, although I was drawn by the words simple life obviously – as I’m always looking for a [...] I have embarked upon the spring cleaning road… This is mainly due to the fact it is now bordering on ridiculous to be forever opening a cupboard only for its contents to come raining down upon my head. Equally ridiculous to be having vast expanses of time sucked away whilst I aimlessly look for errr [...] I’ve had one of those days… the ones where you get to potter through your day and actually enjoy it. The rare combination of domesticity and energy struck me this morning and so I did domestic things… I cleaned windows.. but… I enjoyed it. It was a gorgeous sunny day, the birds were singing and [...] Whilst getting showered and dressed this morning… leisurely I might add, I had time to think, I do like a little thinking time… to sit and wonder and just do everything slowly. This morning’s thoughts were mainly inspired by the fact I feel a little tired and zapped of energy this week (probably the miserable [...] a puzzling boots phenomena & errr possible [...] A little of what you fancy does you [...] |
