*Disclaimer… this post may or may not contain generalised sweeping statements* Basically activities on an English Bank Holiday Monday can be split into four categories: 1) Gardening 2) Queuing in a car on a motorway/queuing in a car to enter an overpriced attraction 3) DIY 4) A good old family get together I specifically do all I can to avoid number [...] I have embarked upon the spring cleaning road… This is mainly due to the fact it is now bordering on ridiculous to be forever opening a cupboard only for its contents to come raining down upon my head. Equally ridiculous to be having vast expanses of time sucked away whilst I aimlessly look for errr [...] I’ve had one of those days… the ones where you get to potter through your day and actually enjoy it. The rare combination of domesticity and energy struck me this morning and so I did domestic things… I cleaned windows.. but… I enjoyed it. It was a gorgeous sunny day, the birds were singing and [...] This morning me and the children have had a lovely time gardening… and we’ve been so busy, weeding, turning over the soil, removing all the dead plants and leaves (winter was harsh!)
