There is something quite great about the British seaside it evokes memories of childhood holidays and I’ve so enjoyed sharing the simple seaside pleasures with my children over the last week. We have filled hours simply playing on the beach, making sandcastles, exploring the contents of rockpools, poking sea anemones, catching little fishes and the tiniest [...] Nutella cupcakes! Do I need to say more? Probably not but where Nutella is concerned more is definitely better! These are ideal messy little cakes for children to get involved making, but on the other hand if you are a grown up who doesn’t want chubby hand germs in their cookery then I’m quite sure you [...] Friday has brought many little things…. In some freak turn of events since breaking up from school boyo has been obsessed with spending time online doing BBC Bitesize Maths it is evidently clear therefore he shall become a mathematical genius, school will pester me to allow them to advance him in to classes way beyond his [...] Today’s election has caused me to be domestically challenged… With both children off school, whilst the government uses the school hall (despite the church hall offering gargantuan amounts of empty space and being within spitting distance of the closed for voting school…) I love having the children at home, they are brilliant and hugely amusing and [...] … allotments, spring & philosophy of [...] A relaxing day at home just me & the [...] a morning visit from a police [...] |
